One of America's circuses will have no elephants in its shows after 2018. All its elephants will go and live in an animal land. They will stay there all the time. One hundred years ago, it was OK for animals to be in circuses, but not today. People are worried about them. The circus will still use other animals. 

Many people criticized the circuses. One said circus elephants have a bad life. They have painful bones(骨头疼痛) and lung diseases(肺部疾病). They want the elephants to leave now.
