A woman was attacked and buried alive by a bear while she was walking her dog.

Natalya Pasternak was walking with a friend in a forest of Siberia（西伯利亚）when her pet began to bark. It was said that the bear have first attacked the dog before attacking the 55-year-old, causing serious injuries to her stomach, legs and head. In order to hide his food to eat later, the wild animal then covered the mother-of-two with soil.

Ms Pasternak’s friend managed to run away and called the police. Then police arrived and shot the animal. It was a female bear, about four years old. And Ms Pasternak was luckily found, she was still conscious. She asked the police: "Have you killed the bear?"

Ms Pasternak was taken to a hospital nearby, where doctors said her condition was now serious but stable.

Doctors said: "Even yesterday, the patient still could not be moved, but she is recovering. She is breathing by herself."
