Todd Bachman is the father of the bride Amy. He separated with Amy’s mother when Amy was in middle school. After that Amy lived with her mother, and no long after that, they welcomed a fresh man in their life, Amy’s stepfather. He took good care of her in the past years. He played an important role on Amy’s growing up way.
At the ceremony, when Todd brought his daughter Amy to the beginning of the aisle, but then stopped the procession.While people were confused with his actions, he walked up to his daughter's stepfather and took his hand. That's when the stepfather realized what was happening. “Todd reached out his hand and caught Amy's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony, including me!” Delia wrote on Facebook.
After that, Delia spoke to Todd and raised his thumb for Todd’s actions. He said: “Families are what we make them... make it about your kids and not your ego. Congratulations Todd Bachman on showing your kids what true love really is...love for your children.”
