That’s my worst trip. I flew from Ireland to my hometown in France to see my parents. The plane made a stop at London Airport. As I thought I had arrived home, I got off the plane. I thought I was in Paris.
I found that Paris had changed a lot. Many old buildings were replaced by high modern buildings. I also found that many people spoke English instead of French and that many streets were written in English. I couldn’t speak English well, so I asked a policeman the way to the bus station.
I met a policeman who was also born in Paris and answered me in the same language. After two hours’ traveling round on a bus, the driver handed me over to a second policeman. I asked the policeman why so many policemen speak English instead of French.
I did not believe I was in London when I was told so. To get me on a plane back to France, I was sent to the airport in a police car.
