Many people think it is better. Zoos look after the animals and protect them. People always give food to them and clean them on time. In the wild, it is not always possible(可能的) for an animal to find food, so sometimes it goes hungry. Zoos also give animals a safe place to live in. In the wild, some kinds of animals are in danger. If there are no zoos, there would be fewer(更少的) kinds of animals in the world.
However, some people think it is bad to keep wild animals in cages(笼子). Some cages are too small for many animals, such as lions and tigers. Wild animals are always not happy in cages.
