On the 12306 App, trains with quiet carriages will have a “quiet (静)” character as a prompt (提示). If you want to buy a second-class ticket with quiet carriages, you can select the option “Please prioritize allocating a quiet carriage seat for me.”
Upon purchasing, a friendly reminder will pop up.
