Debbie lives in a small town. She has a son and his name is Ross. Ross is thirty-one years old. Ross works and lives in London. It’s far from his mother’s home, so Ross doesn’t go back home very often. Debbie is not happy about it. But Ross says, “There is no good work for me in this small town, Mom. And I can get a lot of money in London.”
One day Debbie is very angry. She takes a train to her son’s house in London. Then she says to him, “Ross, why do you never call me?”
“But Mom,” Ross smiles and says, “you don’t have a telephone with you.”
“No,” she says, “I haven’t, but you have one.”
