New Year is the biggest festival in the Czech Republic(捷克共和国). Several years ago we lived in the Czech Republic, and we decided to celebrate New Year with our neighbor in South Moravia. Their house is pretty big and nice, and they have a very big garden. Czechs like to spend their holidays in small villages where there are many beautiful surroundings.
We had a big dinner on the last day of the year 2015. It was amazing and delicious! I remembered that we had beef, sausages and something else. Then we went out to set off the fireworks(放烟花)! They weren’t as big as we have in China, but everyone was so happy.
When the last ten seconds would come, we counted the numbers loudly together and finally we were in a new year! _________ We kissed each other and wished each other a Happy New Year! All of us went out of the house and set off the fireworks again. This time there were some big and beautiful ones in the sky! When I stared at them, I suddenly thought of our city Beijing’s fireworks which were so beautiful and much more beautiful than these. I thought of my parents. I felt I missed them a lot.
