Christmas is coming soon. Little kids are waiting for it and they are writing their letters to Father Christmas. Kids have all kinds of ideas to have their Christmas presents. About 29% of children now use iPads or phones to write down the presents they want on Christmas, and they don’t use pen and paper. And about 19% of children will ask their parents to remember all the things on TV or in the shops, so their parents can buy the things before Christmas Day.
Parents are very busy with the presents, but the number is too big. It is over 3 million(百万). Some presents are really difficult to get, even Father Christmas could not make them come true(实现). These things are difficult to get: a real dragon egg, an iPhone 7, glasses for a cat, singer Taylor Swift, go to the moon, fly like superman. Some parents say, “Getting presents ready for kids at Christmas can be like going into a minefield(布雷区).”
